When you select a device as target for the “midi cc output” module, the connected external device is saved with the file. Once you reopen the file with the external device connected, it is automatically reassigned to the “midi cc output” module.
If the device is not connected - which is often the case when you just quickly improve a patch while sitting on the couch, in a railway, wherever - this information is lost. When you reconnect the external device, nothing happens. You need to manually reassign all “midi cc output” modules.
Expected behavior would be the automatic reassignment as soon as the previously used external device is available again.
