Hey. It’s been a real long time since we’ve had any app updates or new modules.
Is the miRack project abandoned or is there any update from pronvit?

It’s been over a year since announcement of a major update, but i emailed them and assured them that if they started selling in-app modules, people would definitely buy them. At least Oneiroi for 30$ or simply updating the Mutable Instruments line to capabilities of VCV Rack 2… But they’re silent, not a word.
I’ve only discovered miRack recently, and I’m definitely interested. But even with the low price, if it’s becoming abandonware, I’m hesitant. Surely it’s got a future, since it offers plugin capability in one’s DAW for so little money. Plugin capability costs a lot of money in VCV Rack.
Judging by the lack of activity on this board, miRack is a ghost.
Well, miRack in its current state still has plenty of modules to build with. I mostly use it on iPad and the fact that miRack has an AUV3 host module, you can use any AUV3 effects or even synths/oscillators that you have installed on your iPad. I’m sure it works the same on Mac, but I haven’t tested it lately.
Perhaps we’ll still get a miRack update to include newer stuff like Instruo and Befaco Oneiroi. Keep on patchin’ !
I’ll be gutted if it’s discontinued. It’s such a good interface using an Apple Pencil on the iPad compared to say VCV rack on a desktop computer. I wonder if we can gather up interest to collectively fund some updates?
Facebook has has dropped off a lotfor miRack and even for other music app platforms that I like, such as Pd and SuperCollider. So, after checking the other forums, I thought I would check out the miRack forum again. It has been a while. The thing to do to keep a platform alive is to keep creating. Keep making new content with the app and let people know you are using it. It seems like a lot of work but I think that is what is needed to keep things going.
