Is anyone else creating Step sequencers using the Control panel?

Wow. I forgot how dead this place is, considering the power available within MiRack!

About a month ago today, considering the wonderful potential OF using the Control Panel - I wondered if I could use MiRack to create my OWN Step Sequencer software? One that has features from the old classic sequencers like pioneer Serge Tcherepnin’s TKB and the wonderful Moog 960?

Finally, late this afternoon, I solved the final bugs that I had in getting my 3 Step prototype, running correctly.
Pleased! I added (easily, now that it works.) a 4th Step as well as VC Probability amount for each Step as to whether it will be Muted or not. (Working, as of this evening.)
VC Prob. Skip (Moog 960) sb running tomorrow.
After that, I’ll do the full expansion to 8 Steps.
If there is panel room left, I’ll do a 2nd set of 8 Steps.
Quite a few other mods thought if. These were the easier adding right away. Shall see where it goes.
I’ve wanted a Step sequencer with Probability at least, for decades! Finally.
Thank you MiRack for providing this self-building ability!
